Susan Klebanoff is an attorney and trained mediator with over 30 years of experience. She specializes in family and business law and is dedicated to helping families and businesses formulate creative solutions to resolve disputes and engage in business dealings in the most collaborative and amicable way possible. She is a highly skilled, compassionate and empathetic advisor.

Susan’s experience as a corporate lawyer provides a unique and extremely beneficial perspective to her family law clients facing complex financial and legal issues. She also specializes in helping fellow attorneys plan for the continuity or wind up of their practice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Practice Areas

Susan received her B.S. from the State University of New York and her J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University. She is the President and a board member of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council and a member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Susan also participates in the Lawyer of the Day programs at the Norfolk and Plymouth Probate courts.

Susan started her career as a corporate associate at Morgan, Lewis and Bockius in New York City.  She then served as an associate general counsel for Metromedia Company and its affiliate companies where she focused on corporate transactions and employment law.  She started her own practice after moving with her family to Massachusetts.
